1. Member to be,is born into the thottungal family and have kept a relation with the family and its members. Relations are kept by direct contact with family during visits, meetings, engagements of different kinds and other ways of correspondence, and conversations. The need for this important factor is that this website is a social family website connecting family members globally and we need members to know each other and be active.
2. Atleast 2 existing family members or more should be able to confirm the above or you should know atleast 2 family members who are members of this site or of the physical family association. These people should be able to confirm your ties to the family.
3. Member to be, is assumed to be of Indian origin irrespective of their location and or the passport carried.
4. Spouse irrespective of origin, married into the thottungal family is allowed as a member, provided their partner who is from thottungal family is already a member.
5. The main language of the website is English which is one of 2 official languages of India. A member to be, is considered to have a strong relation to the country of origin or family if they can understand their mother tongue (Malayalam) atleast. The purpose of this website is as a social gathering place and we are looking for members who have commonality.
